  1. It baffles me that nobody mentions the carb heat. It's in the PDF checklist for starting the engine and is something that is harped on during training in any C172 from this era. I feel like I read somewhere that maybe the carb heat knob pulls out on this plane, but that it's non-functional. If you've ever experienced carburetor ice, or done an actual run-up in a 172n, then you would have pulled the carb heat and noticed a drop in RPM (followed by an increase in RPM and some engine roughness as the ice melts). Can anyone confirm if this has been added or if it already existed? This is the sole reason I will not be purchasing this plane as of right now. Otherwise, it looks great and sounds great. I would also agree with the floating on transitioning/flare --- this would be noticeable to me as well.
