Thanks for this Stephen. I check XPlaneReviews every day to find out the latest news... and you never disappoint. Purchased the new Beaver. Now I can get rid of the X-Plane 11 models that I tried to make work. (I need my Beaver fix. haha)

Thanks Stephen, Wow, after reading your excellent review, I went and found: https://youtu.be/_QAGbSsws_0 Another 14 minutes well spent. {grin} Now you've got me looking at my sim setup and wishing I could incorporate helicopters.

Aircraft Review : Boeing 747-8 Inter v2 Anniversary Edition by SSG
Blueb replied to Stephen's topic in Airliners Reviews
Why not drop into the XPlane.Org store and purchase it for price of only $45.00 (a $24.00 savings)? You get what you want now and even if there is a $15.00 upgrade fee to X-Plane 12... you still win. -
Sorry... Pal sounded like he was looking for a general improvement over the X-Plane map, which I find AviTab more than acceptable. It didn't sound like he wanted to use it for navigation.

These are the four 'must have's" for any user who flies into the Alaskan wilderness, and are worth every penny at retail, but are absolutely fantastic at these prices. I purchased them when they first came out, and have had a blast. Thranda makes great software, no doubt. The only thing that I can see that needs improving. I have a 4k monitor, and it's hard to make changes to the slide-out Panel Layout screen -especially the 'Panel Preset 0' selector. The lines are so close together and so small you almost need a magnifying glass to choose another panel number. (and the selector is 'disguised' as part of the displayed line) But this is just a minor inconvenience. Overall 5 Stars, for sure.

NEWS! - Plugin Released : ProCam XP by Aerosoft
Blueb replied to Stephen's topic in News! The latest developments in X-Plane
Great Stephen... I did the same as olderndirt. Deleted it from my system, and have been waiting for at least 2 weeks for them to respond. PS - The ProCam XP manual states: Support Support for this product is offered by Aerosoft. We prefer to have a support forum for the simple reason that it is fast and efficient because customers help customers when we are not in the office:forum.aerosoft.com And we advise the Scenery section in the XPlane subforum for any questions on this product. This should be your first stop for any support. If you prefer support by email, please do accept that this could take a bit longer as it might be sent from person to person if necessary, and that email support during the weekends is always slow: helpdesk.aerosoft.com/portal/home We feel strongly about support. Buying one of our products gives you the right to waste our time with questions you feel might be silly. They are not. They're wrong... It's my time that has been wasted. haha -
A great summary, I really enjoy reading your work. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Stephen.

Update Review : King Air 350 v1.4 by AirfoilLabs
Blueb replied to Stephen's topic in General Aviation Aircraft Reviews
This is not unusual, if Airfoillabs cannot find your activation key. If you can... from the Top Menubar, under plugins, find Airfoillabs and click on Product Manager. You should see: King Air 350, 1.5.3.... and 'Up to date'. If not, I would delete your installation, re-install and re-activate using the key they provided you. Then return to the above menu and update the product. -
I agree that it would make a lot of sense for a developer to spend their creative time building aircraft/scenery that "users" really desire. It sounds that there's a list somewhere of planes that are "highly desired". Personally I like the GA area, in fact, I purchased the Phenom 300 based on Stephen's review. What a great plane! Can you point out where I might look for a list of desired planes?

Aircraft Review : DHC-2 Beaver - DGS Series by Thranda Design
Blueb replied to Stephen's topic in Classic Aircraft Reviews
Wow.. what a great review. Stephen.. I "always" look forward to your reviews, they are amongst the best I've seen. I purchased the Beaver as soon as they released it. I'm still finding my way around...and this review will help a lot. Thanks again.
