  1. hi, i've been reading these reviews for quite a while now, although this account is kinda new. i have to say, you are contributing to the x-plane community a lot, by helping people decide what products to get. You put in time to make these amazing reviews, and I truly love them a lot. They are amazing truly amazing! You are also helpful and answer questions in the comments. keep up the good work! -Dave
  2. yes, i like to do more realistic flights so it would be nice to have the exact variant they actually have, but i guess the -200LR normal one would work. i think i would go with the regular version because buying the extended just to use one of the planes is not really worth it... thanks! btw im getting a GTX 1070 external GPU to run better planes like toliss
  3. is the extended pack recommended?my favorite variant is the -300ER and i want to do cathay flights with it but its a bit pricey...
  4. hi, since you've replied to my comments before on system specs and how im too underpowered, what is the minimum vram required for planes like this and the toliss a319? i'm looking currently at external GPUs, and eyeing the GTX 1070 8GB. btw i have 8GB RAM.
  5. thanks for your reply on the a330! this will prbably be my last question on vram, because these two are the only planes I actually want (apart from a330 that i cant run, so i use rwdesign), could i possibly run the 777 extended/a350 (hopefully with the sid/star update) with 1.5GB vram? they seem to work with other people with the same vram on the org, could the planes possibly work with the least settings (minimal)? plz answer and thx! for example this guy in the first post says he gets pretty reasonable fps (25-30) with 777 extended and a350, and he has the same specs as me: https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/197020-toliss-a319-or-ffa320-ultimate/#comment-1798403 ps im not good with computers so this question might sound dumb to you.
  6. well then guess i'll stick to the rwdesign one, and get the 777 extended/a350, they seem to work with other people with the same vram, could that possibly work with the least settings (minimal)? plz answer and thx! ps im not good with computers so this question might sound dumb to you.
  7. hello stephen, great review as always! sorry if I'm being to buggy/annoying with my questions! anyways, i'm looking to buy this plane, but as i said before, my vram is only 1536MB. will this run? i can run the rwdesigns a330, even thought that ALSO says it needs 2gb. i have my settings all at minimal. will it run/get 20-30 FPS? plz let me know! thx! sry if im being too anoying
  8. i bought this and the jar, and this is far better. it has good fbw, pretty nice systems, awesome cabins, kinda meh mcdu, but really good! meanwhile jar doesn't fly like an airbus at all with horrible fbw and its buggy af, tho it does have doors, better exterior, better system depth (minus the fbw) and more detail in the mcdu. my biggest problem with the rw a330 (this one) is that it doesn't have opening doors or hatches, and some of the liveries have missing winglet colors, but otherwise, my favorite now.
  9. thanks! sorry to bother you with a few more questions: what about the a350 XWB Advanced? how much vram does that need? (it says 1GB, 2GB, which one?) i have 1536 MB of vram on my MBP. and finally, which one do you reccomend? the 777 (extended if i can run it with my vram on minimal settings), or a350 (with the sid/star update coming soon in april)?
  10. hi stephen, just asking, but does this plane really only require 0.5-1 Gb of vram? because i run xplane on a macbook pro with sh** vram.
