  1. An interesting article as I had GLobal Traffic many years ago when on Windows and FSX now I am on MAC OSX and X-plane 11. It wil be interesting to see what they have done to try and as you say beat the spots off World Traffic 3. You said that there was three traffic systems for X-plane , I believe there are 3 more that you have not mentioned. These three all have traffic to see on your x-plane screen and let me explain why . IF you use VATSIM , IVAO or Pilot EDge then by definition these on line ATC systems if you are at a busy ATC manned airport will have traffic and taxi routes as teh ATC clients will have these defined on their radar scopes and charts. Talking about TAXI routes then the scenery editors should try something like NAVIGRAPH Desktop which has a good and fairly upto date set of charts for thousands of airports. There is no excuse in not doing these corredly when building scenery. Of course the only problem is that VATSIM etc will use airport NOTAMS and thus when engineering work is copied to the Virtual World then they use the alternative taxi-routes when they can. My final thought on TAXI routes is that I dont mind if they are not 100% as long as they are aware where my aircraft is and know where STATIC aircraft and ground vehicles are otherwise any software will generate ther view from the user that it is faulty and the results are not that good
