  1. Though I'm still on 11.25, decided to give it a go and verified it will not run - crashed on load up. So until the 11.30 release for the faint of heart appears, it's a waiting game but you make it sound worth it.
  2. Would by it in a minute without that immersion package. Same thing with A2A on the other platforms. A lot of us have 'been there, done that' and just want to fly.
  3. I'm so close. Did as you advised and have several planes (red dots) at the airport - more reading on tap. What key exits the "Key Command Menu"? (got it - 'backspace'). Update - noticed in my rush to implementation I neglected to download all four Airbuses and Boeings. Did that so I may be good.
  4. Progress is right around the corner. I did as you said and the first time I clicked on "create flights" it advised to 'disable AFRE auto generated'. The second time it told me to 'enable cargo'. Here is what I get this a.m. - #1 went through "create flights" (your example) apparently without a hitch but left me with shot #2. In #3 only two aircraft parked a LAX and one of them is the one I loaded.
  5. Your review is bookmarked and I'm getting there - thanks for your 'setup'. Entered your setup and created ground routes for destination KSFO (got a whole laundry list) - it says ground routes for LAX already created. Still nothing parked at LAX except me. My entries into XP11 look the same as yours and I've downloaded routes and planes - wonder what I'm not doing? Attached a log. GroundRouteAutoGenLog.zip
  6. I've learned more about LAX this afternoon reading your review than I have in the week or so since purchase. Now if I can just get my head around WT3, we'll see some action.
  7. For all 172N owners, Bill Womack has a nice 'freeware' HD black panel for this plane - https://iblueyonder.com/freeware/
  8. I'm confused - bought this in March. Does your review cover an update or is nothing new? Disregard - this is the same version I bought.
  9. Since this is essentially a beta, is every update to cost $24.95 - could get a bit pricey.
  10. I pasted the registration number as requested and clicked reload. Unin/reinstalled and all's well.
  11. Have mercy - I'll be eighty next month. What key, where, how and anything else I should know?
  12. Just bought it. How do you get rid of the whole pilot body, headset stuff (especially those hands) from the cockpit - very annoying.
  13. An interesting thing I've found with Pete's Beaver, it's never the same. Perhaps this is due to my installation but each flight seems to produce different reactions to the different problems. I installed a tailwheel lock per your review and it seemed whizzo but will it be the same next time?. By and large it's a great plane - just listening to that R985 at cruise makes me nod off, relaxed with the knowledge that Laminar will have it fixed and ready at the threshold ready to go.
  14. Definitely a Diamond and no "rough cut" either. Every thing you say - all I could wish for would be a version with 'steam-ish' gauges. Not a big fan of the glass cockpit perhaps because that's not what I learned on. Old habits die hard.
  15. If that's rust rather than corosion on those floats then they're made of iron or steel - a real challenge, weight wise. As good as this one looks, it's difficult to ignore the AWX freeware - Manfred Jahn's FSX model ported for XP.
  16. Just purchased, based on your review and it's all you say. Flies extremely well and I prefer the steam gauge panel. The G1000 display is a bit mini for these old eyes.
  17. Another excellent review - my plastic is quivering. No water rudders 'cause it uses asymmetrical thrust to steer on water.
  18. Why can't you set the idle RPM with REP, at the carb like in RL? Just kidding .
