Guest Steve Owen
Do owners of the previous version have to purchase this new and improved version? Or is there an update to the new features?

Guest Mr_McBride
This is the review that is linked for the Org store for this plane....but it's not much of a review. I get the feeling there is another review somewhere and that is just an update.

The G1000 system by Alabeo has been just now updated to v3, so we are waiting for the update to be completed for the review. SD
jmhelms
Great plane...beautiful... I am using XP 11 and the plane will not fly a flight plan... Am working with Alabeo on a fix....a popular on-line fix does not seem to work...failure of plane to fly flight plan is a bummer for me... The DA 40, which I also purchased, will fly a flight plan... jandetlefsen
I've purchased this plane but the pilot and passenger are rendered hanging out of the bottom of the plane. is there a way to fix this? it looks quite comical but a little disturbing as well. jmhelms
Hi Jan...I have the plane and i too had the problem... I assume you have properly registered the plane after purchase... If memory serves me, there is a tool tab, accessible on the left-hand side of the screen that has some Alabeo settings...one of those is the culprit...like an open door or something like that... Hope this helps... John H.
Callum Rye
Hello, Does this aircraft have ADF capability?
Stephen
No I don't think it has? It shows the adf pointer in BGD 2, but it doesn't seem to work, even if you put the frequency in directly from the local map...
Big
How do I get the procedures soft key to operate so I can load approaches in the DA42 g1000 I dont have any problem with x plane c172. So there is something wrong with this program
Stephen
The date may be the clue? the DA42 from Alabeo is old in three years old, and it uses their own and now older G1000 system. This system has now been abandoned by Alabeo for this reason and they now use the G1000 Laminar Research version (the same as in the C172), but the aircraft has not yet had that upgrade? It wasn't a particularly good G1000 from the start? You could try setting up the full flightplan including the SID/STAR procedures in SimBrief and then importing in the completed flight plan into the G1000, it may work, it works that way with other limited FMS systems. Glyn
I’ve already put the carenado folder in the xplane11 folder and restarted xplane11. The G1000 screens are still black and not coming on. Please advise on how I get it working properly. Thanks Glyn.
