Stephen Posted September 23 Report Share Posted September 23 NEWS! - New Airport Released : LFMR- Barcelonnette, France by FSX3D Another French airport converted to X-Plane 12 from FSX3D. This airport is Barcelonnette - Saint-Pons Airport, which is an airport in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department, located between Grenoble and Monaco. The aerodrome is open to national commercial traffic, private aircraft and day VFR. The aerodrome has a single paved runway oriented 09/27 (QFU 092/272) 800 m long and 30 m wide. The runway is located at an altitude of 1132m3. The airport has no lighting and is therefore not approved for any night VFR or IFR operations. There are no customs or police at Barcelonnette, but only a level 1 SSLIA. "Level 1 SSLIA (Serious Short-term Lack of Improvement Alert) refers to a situation where an immediate lack of improvement in a critical system, operation, or performance metric poses a potential safety risk. This kind of alert triggers specific, urgent attention from the flight crew or ground personnel to manage or correct the issue before it escalates into a more severe problem. There is also no control service, traffic is carried out by the self-information frequency: 123.500 Mhz. The aerodrome manager is the "Barcelonnette gliding center".
