NEWS! - Scenery Release : Everest Park - Nepal 3D XP12 by Frank Dainese and Fabio Bellini

 

The Italian climbers are back...  and this time they have updated their excellent Everest Park - Nepal scenery to X-Plane 12. Called  Everest Park - Nepal 3D XP12, and the scenery covers that most famous and highest region of the Mahalangur Himal sub-range of the Himalayas.

 

Mt Everest at 8,848 metres (29,029 ft) is of course situated here, but the scenery covers also all the other famous surrounding peaks; Lhotse (8516), Makalu (8463), Nuptse (7861), Pumori (7161), Ama Dablam (6812), Taboche (6543) and Baruntse (7129).

 

Other highlights include the "Most Dangerous Airport in the WORLD" and that is big announcement, but that is what VNLK - Lukla is, and a huge challenge for any X-Plane flyer of distinction with it's steeply committed runway,  VNSB - Syangboche,  Namche Baza, Tengboche and the famous "Everest Base Camp" are all in here as well if you want to follow the footsteps of some of the greatest climbers that ever climbed.

The Everest scenery encompasses an area of about 8000 square kilometers in Himalayan range along with other eight-thousanders on the border between China and Nepal. The area also includes a large area of Nepal south of Himalayan range with several reconstructed villages in; Lukla, Namche Bazar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Gorak Shep, Yeti Mountain and to the SOUTH Phaplu, Basanta Nazar, Rumjatar and Lamidanda.

Five new airports and more Helipads  have also been included, highlighted by; VNLK (LUKLA) Sloped Asphalt Runway, VNSB (SYANBOCHE) Runway in beaten earth, VNPL (PHAPLU) Short asphalt runway (new), VNRT (RUMJATAR) Asphalt Runway (new), VNLD (LAMIDANDA) Asphalt Runway (new)  and VNKL (KANGEL DANDA) Short Runway in beaten earth (new).

Helipads include;

  • HELK Lukla Helipad - HENB Namche-Bazar Helipad - HETB TengBoche Helipad
  • HPRH Pheriche Helipad - HCNR Pyramid CNR Helipad - HEBC BaseCamp Everest
  • HBNF BaseCamp Everest North Face - HYET Yeti Mountain Helipad -
  • All airports also have an Helipad

 

Ultra-High Definition Scenery Pack

  • The main mountains of the area have been rebuilt with 3D models. 
  • DEM data was used and further corrected with 3D graphics programs. 
  • Summer and Winter Textures (XP12)
  • Manual included
