NEWS! - Aircraft Update : C-130H Hercules X-Plane 12 by X-Hangar

 

 

Who doesn't love the "Herky Bird", or the Lockheed Martin C-130H Hercules four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft. Well X-Hangar have updated their version now to X-Plane 12!

 

An aircraft capable of using unprepared runways for takeoffs and landings, the C-130 was originally designed as a troop, medevac, and cargo transport aircraft. The versatile airframe has found uses in a variety of other roles, including as a gunship, search and rescue, scientific research support, weather reconnaissance, aerial refueling, maritime patrol, and aerial firefighting. It is now the main tactical airlifter for many military forces worldwide. Over forty variants and versions of the Hercules, including a civilian one marketed as the Lockheed L-100, operate in more than 60 nations. It is the go-to aircraft for logistics.

 

Two versions are included for use in X-plane 12: C-130H, and L-100-30 (is a stretched version of the C-130 and has a glass instrument panel)
