Stephen
NEWS!- Aircraft Update : Citation C-560XL v1.5 by AirSim3D Released late in 2022, and currently only for X-Plane 11. The Citation C-560XL by AirSim3D was our best of the year aircraft in the "Business Aircraft", category. It was well deserved, as it is not only a great simulation of a very interesting aircraft, but a very additive simulation as well. The X-Plane 12 version is now coming along as well... and the developer notes it looks "Great" in the new X-Plane version. I have no doubt about that and foresee easily the quality that shone in X-Plane 11, will make it absolutely shine in X-Plane 12. If you buy now (X-Plane 11), you will also get a free upgrade to X-Plane 12 when that version is released. There is a video showing the aircraft in X-Plane 12, below... Currently focus in the v1.5 release is on the key functions like the hydraulics, adds pilot objects, adds fmod sounds, adds 4 more liveries and does some other general tuning to the lighting and handling just to make things better and even more smoother. Here is the full changelog; Version 1.5 (January 12th 2023) Upgraded Hydraulic system failure authenticity: Now very specific procedures need to be followed because the gear, speed brakes, flaps, reversers and other systems go offline with pump failures Gear-blow down is now 100% authentic with Hydraulic failures, so this can get scary! Upgraded Oil pressure functionality Couple of minor APU panel labeling fixes you probably missed, but we did not Fixed adverse yaw reversal under certain conditions Tuned/better ground-roll and handling Tuned starting-point cockpit under-hood night lighting -- made a shade brighter based on real-pilot feedback - its fully controllable anyway oops... some icing and heater timings shipped with short test periods; fixed to now reflect real heating time (considering ambient temps too) 1 Annunciator color fix Added reading and table lights and lamps for each chair in the cabin Added Pilot objects in external views Added more FMOD sounds Added 2 real, and 2 professionally designed liveries for Canada and Germany (now a total of 12 country-themed designs to fly with) Paint kit has been available here. Noted that this will be the last update for the current time to focus on delivering the aircraft for X-Plane 12. Navy Man
Have just loaded the Cessna Citation 560XL v1.5. The only problem that I'm having is that I cannot get the Auto Pilot to engage. Looks like the AP button has no function. Please advise. I really enjoy flying this aircraft. Thanks
