Stephen
NEWS! - SSG 747-8 Anniversary Edition v2.6 beta for XP12 is now available Flight Procedures Simulation (formally SSG) have released their Mega Boeing 747-800 Anniversary Edition aircraft with now the compatibility to be used and fly in Laminar Research's X-Plane 12. Notable is that it says compatible, this is not a full X-Plane 12 version of the aircraft. So this is only a Beta patch, not a full X-Plane 12 aircraft file. So changes can still happen as can you find bugs in the new simulator beta run. I was looking forward to seeing the Boeing 748I in X-Plane 12. It always looked very good in X-Plane 11, and the "Wow" factor is certainly very strong here. Top is the International (Passenger), lower is the Freighter. You get both variants in the one package. Then there is that aperture, it is huge! Version 2.6b1 New version for XP12 XP 12 compatibility Performance and flight dynamics for XP12 New tiler logic Rain drops New xp hydraulic added New XP bleed added Nextures for new xp12 model New lights model. FMC with a better ND SIDs and STARs representation. It is recommended to download this X-Plane 12 Beta aircraft directly from your X-Plane.Org account as a fresh download, not via the Skunkcraft's updater application... also to note to update (or move to X-Plane 12) the UFMC data in the "Custom Data" folder for X-Plane 12 (see my overview X-Plane 12 - NavData changes). Obviously the X-Plane 11 version is still supported.
